For our July Blog Hop I wanted to share a Memory Box that I made for my cousin Denielle and her new husband Will for their wedding last month. All the materials used are Close To My Heart products. The box and the flower stamps used are ours but retired. (D1375 Treasures and D1508 Diverse backgrounds).
The background on the top of the box is White Daisy and was randomly stamped and heat embossed using the flower from the stamp set Treasures with a mix of Prisma Glitter and Clear Detail embossing powder. It is hard to see in the pictures but it made a beautiful background.
The photo mats are Sky cardstock then embossed with the cuttlebug and lightly sanded.
The sides were randomly stamped with the same stamp set and our Sky ink. The front and back of the box were again stamped with Sky ink but with the flower stamp from Diverse Backgrounds. All the flowers were cut using our Art Philosophy and Artiste Cricut cartridges....also the border on the front. Some of the flowers were cut with White Daisy and again randomly stamped.
A toothpick and our Stardust Glitter Gel and Opaque Pearl Gems did the final embellishing.
This is the matching card using White Daisy and Sky. It is a 5x5 and a heart MS punch. It is layered and popped with various shapes using the cuttlebug. It is a Dahlia folded flower using White Daisy and stamped with a flower in Sky ink then embellished with another of our Cricut flowers.
I hope you like it. It was a labor of love.
Now it is time to hop over to Cindy's blog and see what lovely creation she has for us.
